About us
KORWA is a non-profit organization committed to bridging the gap between donors and local communities in need. Founded in 2010, KORWA was established to address the challenges faced by overseas Indian returnees in the Konkan region and to extend meaningful support to those experiencing hardship.
Our mission is to assist individuals who are distressed, retired, unemployed, or facing financial and personal difficulties, while also addressing the educational and medical needs of underprivileged children in the Konkan region — regardless of creed, religion, or social status.
A special focus of KORWA is the welfare of children, particularly those from underprivileged backgrounds and orphanages. We strongly believe that every child deserves care, dignity, education, and an opportunity to build a brighter future. Through educational assistance, medical support, and community-driven initiatives, we strive to create a nurturing and supportive environment for them.
Our primary goal is to foster a strong sense of brotherhood and compassion by offering a helping hand to those in need and serving as a beacon of hope in their lives. Over the years, many individuals and children have benefited from KORWA’s support for education, healthcare, and essential needs. While our contributions may be modest, their impact has been meaningful and life-changing.
Through transparency, dedication, and collective effort, KORWA continues to work towards improving lives and strengthening communities — reaffirming our belief that together, we can make a difference. Read more

We firmly believe that every child deserves a safe environment, equal opportunities, and hope for a brighter future. Our efforts are guided by the values of brotherhood, inclusiveness, and service beyond boundaries of creed or social status.
