Welfare Association (KORWA)

Konkan Overseas Returnees

President's Desk

KORWA was founded with a heartfelt purpose — to stand beside those in need and to bridge the gap between compassionate donors and vulnerable communities in the Konkan region. Since our inception in 2010, we have remained committed to supporting overseas Indian returnees and individuals who are distressed, retired, unemployed, or facing difficult circumstances.
At the core of our work lies a deep concern for children. We place special emphasis on the welfare of underprivileged children and orphanages, ensuring access to education, medical care, and emotional support. We firmly believe that every child deserves a safe environment, equal opportunities, and hope for a brighter future.
Our efforts are guided by the values of brotherhood, inclusiveness, and service beyond boundaries of creed or social status. While our contributions may be modest, they are driven by sincerity and have brought meaningful change to many lives. Each life we touch reinforces our belief that compassion, when shared, multiplies its impact.
As President of KORWA, I am grateful for the trust, encouragement, and support of our members, donors, volunteers, and well-wishers. Together, with God’s grace, we will continue to strengthen our mission, expand our reach, and serve with humility and dedication.
I invite you to join us in this journey of care and compassion, as we work hand in hand to uplift lives and build a stronger, more caring community.
May God bless you all.

Warm regards,
Suraj A. J. Rebello
President Korwa
